_____ to Work Week
by Tony Chavira
Bart Simpson officially announced that this is Bike to Work Week in Los Angeles, but I'm not necessarily a fan of single-transportation advocacy myself. Not that biking to work is a bad idea, but c'mon... we'll never see a "Drive to Work Week" or a "Bus to Work Week," even if all cars are converted to hydrogen. Bike Advocates in Los Angeles are particularly belligerant about biking, and although I appreciate their fervor, I also can't stand their smug attitudes. I mean, we're not really in disagreement: we all hate cars in all forms in L.A. Wait, scratch that... we hate other people's cars. Because they pollute the air and get in our way to work. We should call this, "Everyone Else Bike to Work Week." As for me, I'm nursing a recent ankle surgery. I need to be driven.
Bikes are boring though. The general design hasn't changed in hundreds of years, and any other form of transportation might've gone through a few stages of evolution by now. I'm waiting for the next big design step, whatever it may be.
What's the future of kickass, non-motorized transport? Super slick bicycles?

All-terrain skateboards?

Maybe revamp the rollerblade concept?

Or maybe something we never would've expected?

I guess we'll have to wait a few years and see what makes it big. Razr scooters came out of nowhere and I see people using them all over downtown. Whatever comes next is anyone's guess, I just hope that the hardcore bike enthusiasts out there don't look down on someone trying to mix things up. Just don't let them look down on you. They're not really green enough unless they're riding a bike made of bamboo.

I strictly recommend not to hold back until you earn big sum of money to order all you need! You can just take the mortgage loans or just short term loan and feel yourself comfortable
